Yessenia Gonzalez obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University. She obtained her Master of Professional Studies from St. John’s University. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School. Yessenia then served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Teresa Kondrup Coyle, J.S.C. in the Monmouth County Superior Court, Family Part, in 2020-2021. Yessenia is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Yessenia speaks and writes Spanish fluently.
Yessenia is a member of the Monmouth Bar Association, Hispanic Bar Association, and the Dominican Bar Association, as well as a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, including its Family Law Section and Young Lawyer Division.
Yessenia’s practice involves a focus in matrimonial litigation practice, domestic violence, child custody, divorce, alimony, parenting time, same sex divorce, DCP&P, appellate division, municipal court matters, children in court, and other family matter litigation.
Yessenia was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She was president of Theta Phi Alpha while attending St. John’s University. She enjoys spending time with her family, her yoga practice, spending time at the beach, reading, and traveling back to the Dominican Republic to visit her family.
