Michelle O’Connor is a paralegal at the Law Office of Timothy F. McGoughran, LLC. Michelle has been with the firm since July 2017 handling predominately matrimonial litigation but also assisting our attorneys with civil, estate, criminal, real estate, and appellate work. She is dedicated to assisting our clients in all phases of the litigation process to create as stress-free an environment as possible.
Michelle obtained an Associates in Applied Science Business – Paralegal Degree from Ocean County Community College. She also completed a 33-hour semester Certification of Proficiency Program in Legal Assistant/Paralegal studies. Michelle is part of the Lambda Epsilon Chi National Honor Society in Paralegal/Legal Studies, as well as the Alpha Beta Gamma Nation Honor Society for Business and professional Curricula.
Michelle is a member of the Paralegal Association of New Jersey, as well as a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Michelle has attended various paralegal continuing educational seminars each year since graduating to keep up-to-date with new techniques and legal theories, new case law, strategies, and strengthening skills in the paralegal field.
Michelle was born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, and presently resides in Spring Lake Heights. She has dual citizenship in Ireland and previously lived there for five years, which developed her love for different European cultures, art and travel.
When not working, Michelle enjoys hiking, running, skiing, attending concerts, and spending time with her family and friends.
