David Scott Mack has been a lawyer for over 39 years dedicated to the protection of his clients and the best development of their legal matters.
He graduated from Rutgers New Brunswick in 1979 with high honors and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. David graduated from Rutgers Law School Newark in 1984 and was admitted to the bar of the State of New Jersey in 1984.
He has practiced primarily in the areas of family law and criminal law for his entire career. David was the municipal Public Defender and Prosecutor for the Township of Berkeley Heights from 1991 until 2001. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Family Part, the Morris County Bar, and Monmouth County Bar Associations. David has served the Matrimonial Early Settlement Program as a blue ribbon panelist in Morris County as well as a panelist in Morris, Essex, and Union Counties for over 20 years.
David has lectured on various topics of family law in New York and New Jersey for Lawline, the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the Union County Bar Association, the Barry Croland Inns of Court, and the State Bar Association in Atlantic City. He has been selected as a Super Lawyer from 2014 present. He is also regularly appointed as a guardian ad litem in uncontested and contested guardianship cases.
David is certified as an R.1:40 Court Approved Family Law Mediator for litigants located in Monmouth and Morris Counties.
David was a coach and wrestling commissioner in Berkeley Heights and is an avid Rutgers wrestling fan. In his free time, he enjoys music and at times can be seen sitting in with local bands as a harmonica player.
